I enjoy books, perfumes, stories, images, bits of folklore, and all the sensual pleasures of life. I am fond of fog, gardens in the rain, old houses, incense, gregorian chants, tarot cards, any body of water, lavender lattes. I like any kind of media that transports me to a different world and leaving me feeling inspired, melancholy, great swooping joy or introspective tranquility, or all of the above.

Stories about longing, transformation, and returning home.
Of all mythical creatures, I relate most strongly to the selkie: a being divided between land and sea, domesticity and wildness, intimacy and escape. Selkie stories are about identity, stolen freedom, homesickness, love, transformation, and the parts of ourselves that cannot remain hidden forever.
